Vacation

We are back from vacation!!! Most of you probably already know that this vacation didn't go quite as well as we had hoped since we all came down with a pretty nasty stomach virus, but we are all doing much better and we are glad to be back home. Here is a little summary of the fun parts of our trip:

We headed to Pittsburgh first to spend some time with family and friends. Nate and Reagan got to see their Grandfather and all of their God parents and they were spoiled with some really wonderful gifts. The twins also got to walk around the mall at Robinson with their little backpack leashes and they even played at the Moon playground where they went on slides and swings and ran around so fast that Mom and Dad had a hard time catching them.

We were all still recovering from the stomach bug while in St Louis so we mostly just hung out in the hotel. We did get to spend lots of quality time with Grammie Gail (GG) and she spoiled the twins with some really wonderful and unique presents. Mom and Dad got to eat at a beautiful restaurant in downtown St. Louis that had a gorgeous view of the Arch and the entire city. Mom, Dad and even GG also got out to a St. Louis Casino...but of course no luck there.

On our way back home the kiddos were finally starting to feel a little better so we stopped in Indianapolis and went to the Children's Museum. The kids had a great time there! Reagan loved the giant sand box and Nate's favorite was definitely the water table where he completely soaked himself. Both Nate and Reagan also enjoyed crawling around a little maze with foam mats and various tunnels and obstacles. Nate fell asleep after lunch so Reagan and Daddy were on their own looking at the fish aquarium.

We stayed the night in Indianapolis and we were able to take the kids to an indoor water park. Nate was a little uncertain at first but once he realized how much fun it was to splash it was hard to even drag him away. The kiddie pool had little fountains that squirted water and both of the kids had a blast with those. Mom and Dad enjoyed taking the kids around the lazy river and just spending some quality time together.

Our last stop was a Chuck E. Cheese in Baltimore. It seemed that while on this trip Nathan developed a bit of a phobia to new places so it took him a while to settle down but after eating some Pizza and watching the animals singing on the stage he was back to being himself. Reagan and Nate ran around the restaurant like the crazy toddlers they are. They played a few games and went on a couple rides and soon it was time to get back in the car and head home. We are still unpacking and trying to get settled in at home but we are very glad to be back and be healthy again.
