Christmas Part 2

We got our new Radian car seats and installed them just before Christmas. The plan is to have 3 across the back of the minivan and the new baby in one of the captains chairs. This set up makes it possible to stow one of the captains chairs and that makes plenty of room for diaper changes, going potty and just getting around and buckling everyone in.

I must admit that the night I installed the 3 car seats I broke into laughter and couldn't stop laughing. I never in my life thought that I would be having 4 children especially after how hard we struggled to conceive the twins. It became really clear to me as I struggled to secure the car seats in tight that we will soon have the big family we always wanted but never thought possible. I special thanks to Grandma for the new car seats!!!

Christmas Part 1

WOW! I can't believe that I haven't posted anything since Halloween. What can I say other than things have been busy.

We spent Christmas at home with our family. All the grandparents made it out despite the icy weather and it was so nice to share the holiday with them. The kids were spoiled rotten with all the gifts but they are still having tons of fun with all their new toys.

We made it outside in the snow a few times before the rain melted everything. All the kids enjoyed sledding down the hill although Riley can't really hold onto the sides of the sled just yet. They all looked so adorable bundled up in their winter gear. The gloves we had didn't do much good as they fell off constantly. I just picked up some longer gloves with elastic around the forearm in hopes that those will do the trick.

I decided to break down Christmas into a bunch of parts because there is just too much to cover and too many photos for just a single post.

Grandma Gail, Miss Tina and I took the kids to Build a Bear before Christmas. It ended up being a "Leopard Print" theme day from the moment that Reagan woke up and decided that she wanted to (in her words) "look like baby jaguar" from Diego. This prompted me to put Riley in her matching leopard print shirt and GG decided to wear hers too. Wouldn't you know that Nathan picked the Snow Leopard to stuff and Reagan wanted her Pink Bear to wear Leopard print clothes. So at the end of the day we all looked like we belonged in a zoo and not the mall.






Here are some pictures from the mall playground. Apparently Riley was so exhausted from Build a Bear that she climbed into the little Sailboat and fell asleep with her little behind in the air...so CUTE!






And here are the pictures of the kids playing in the snow. Our snowman actually had 3 carrots (one is in the back) so that none of the kids felt left out. John called him the Ghost Walrus snowman.
