Halloween

Trick or Treat night was on Thursday and we all had so much fun. Both Reagan and Nathan got the concept right away and were going from house to house getting candy. Riley was just happy to be walking around and would wonder off in any direction she pleased. Reagan is still wanting to do more trick or treating so we have resorted to her wearing her monkey costume in the house and knocking on the bathroom door or garage door so she can say trick or treat while I put a piece of candy in her pumpkin.

We have signed Nathan up for another swim class. He is really enjoying it and he is learning a bit too. He will take what he learns in class and use it in the bath tub. It's not uncommon to find him on his belly in the tub nowadays and he is even trying to blow bubbles! Reagan started swim class last week too. I think she will really enjoy it also.

We decorated pumpkins this year with the kids. Two of our therapists were with us for this project. I got a kit from Target that are the Halloween version of a Lite Bright. The kids used toy hammers to pound colored pegs into the pumpkins and then we added a battery powered light to make them glow. I really thought they turned out great and I plan on doing them again next year.

This was the best Fall EVER! Not because of all the fun we had in the leaves but because this was our next door neighbor's yard, LOL! Usually all of the leaves that belong to his big tree blow into our yard, so this was a very pleasant surprise. John thought is was so great that the leaves stayed put that he actually raked the words "Ha Ha" into our neighbors front yard.

Regardless of where the leaves were, the kids (and even the adults) had a ton of fun!
