I'm not posting enough am I?

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I'm going to make this post an easy one with mostly pictures and little writing so that I can summarize what is going on and get back in the swing of things.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is what happens when mom has to take back a rented carpet cleaner to the store and Dad is out of town. Mom ends up pushing two carts into the store all by herself.

This is Reagan playing with her Clipo blocks that she received this past week when GG came to visit. Rae is also wearing Daddy's safety glasses that she swipped out of his car after her appointment for a speech evaluation.

These pictures were taken at the playground. We met one of our Early Intervention therapists there and the kids did a fun project at one of the picnic tables.

I thought that I could take all 3 kids to a store by myself and have their pictures done. There was so much crying and running away that I know I burned about 500 calories in 2 hours and I didn't come home with a single picture. I snapped this pic of Riley at home afterwards but I just couldn't get the twins to cooperate so I will try one more attempt at professional pics sometime this week.

Here is our new playroom. Still some work to do. I am ordering some Mickey Mouse wall decals, we have a funky lamp to add, a train table is on it's way and I also want to get some shelves to organize puzzles and toys.

Nathan loves the playroom chalkboard. Too bad he writes all over the other walls too.

These were taken Easter morning just as Nathan was recovering from a fever that went all the way up to 104.5. He loved the grass in the Easter baskets and he could have thrown it up in the air all day if we let him.

Reagan loved her lollipop and the chocolate. She definitely takes after her mom with her sweet tooth.

Before Easter

Lots has been going on here. Lets see, this sums up the past few weeks...
  • We went to an Easter Egg hunt at Church. Reagan had fun but Nathan was tired and just wanted to be held (see video). In case your wondering, Riley was on my back.
  • We went to the Zoo with another mom and her 2.5 yr old and 14 month old.
  • We had a play date at our house with 14 month old twins and a 3.5 year old.
  • We received Nathan's medical card and are getting closer to getting his autism ABA therapy started
  • Both of the twins saw a private speech therapist. Soon they will be adding another 1/2 hour of speech per week to their schedule
  • Riley is sitting on her own for up to a minute at a time and she is eating banana and apple sauce baby food. She still doesn't have any teeth and she barely has any hair. I am starting to think her hair is getting lighter, maybe Nathan's color.
  • We had a new fence installed and the ground cleared to make way for the outside playset. Daddy is working on putting the playset together by doing a little every night.
  • The kids got over colds and started a new batch of colds. Nathan added an extremely high fever to the mix (104.5) but it has since broke and he is doing better
  • We had the carpets professionally cleaned because mommy is a dumb head and accidentally locked the cat out of the room where we keep his litter box. This caused him to use the kids ball pit as a litter box - YUCK! And get some on the carpet in the process.
  • We canceled having professional pictures done for Easter because of the kids being sick and we will probably skip church too
  • Reagan is saying shoe and sock really well and she is saying "No" very clearly instead of saying "Row"
  • Both Nathan and Reagan are beginning to use a picture system (in the Autism world it is called PECS - Picture Exchange Communication System) to communicate with us. They are both giving us a magnetic picture of their sippy cup that we keep on the frig when they want a drink. We are going to try a picture of apples next week.
