Halloween 2011

I have not blogged in 8 months. I don't have a fantastic memory but I will do my best to insert things in the correct order and give a bit of a description. This was a rainy and somewhat cold Halloween night. Reagan did not want to wear anything Princess or Girly. She HAD to be a ghost. Even a twin sheet on a 4 yr old was going to be WAY big so I bought a King Size pillow case and cut out the eyes and nose. She was very happy with her costume. The kids were hard core this year. They did not complain even once. I heard our neighbor's 6 yr old crying and complaining but our crew was determined to stay out the entire time despite the cold rain. We got loads of candy and the kids had so much fun. I can't wait until next Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

We made it to a Pumpkin Patch this year but we tried a different one.  There were some additional stuff here like a kiddie Haunted House but really none of the kids liked it at all.  They did like the crazy long slide and that was a free activity so they spent about an hour doing that.  Not sure if we will be back here again next year but I really did like the slide.

1st Day of School

It's finally here!!!!

It has been a fun summer but a loooong summer and I am so ready to send these kids somewhere else for a few hours a day. Now I love my kids but getting a break twice a week is very much welcomed at this point. I'm sure once they hit kindergarten or 1st grade and they are gone everyday and all day that I may change my tune a bit, but for now...YAY, School is starting!

Reagan and Nathan are in a 4 yr old class and they go twice a week for 4 hours. They get to eat lunch at school this year so that is something new for them. Nathan's TSS is with him all day and school and jumps in whenever needed.

Riley is in the 2 yr old class and goes twice a week for 2 hours. She did amazing for her first day. I was so worried she wouldn't understand that Nathan and Reagan are in a different classroom but she didn't so much as let out a whimper. She just marched right in and did her thing.

I am so proud of all the kids!

Kaycee meets the Cat Door

A few days after we got back from Grandma's house Kaycee attempted to same move she accomplished there. Unlucky for her that we have a Cat door rather than a Doggie Door. I found her as I was coming up the basement stairs so I got a view of the backside first.

Children's Museum Summer 2011

Miss Jessica came with us to the Children's Museum a few weeks ago. As usually the kids enjoyed everything there.

Summer Vacation at Grandma & Grandpa's

Ummm, so yes I have been MIA for a long time. Figured I better get my act together and put some stuff on the blog now before we come back from Disney world and I have a gazillion pictures and videos to upload.

This post is from July when we all spent a few days at Grandma & Grandpa's house. I am pretty sure the kids were in heaven having a swimming pool in the backyard. Nathan got a stomach bug the first day but he perked up enough by the afternoon to come with us for our very first trip to play mini golf. We also spent two days at a local amusement park. John skipped out on the kiddie rides and took the kids on the big rides right off the bat. Not my idea, but the kids loved the bigger rides. Riley liked a big boat that rocked and swiveled around. Reagan liked the tea cups and the parachute ride. Nathan's favorites were definitely the log rides that splash in the water.

4th of July 2011 Weekend

Lots and lots of pics from the 4th of July weekend. Swimming at the lake, Chuck E Cheese & fireworks with Grandma and Grandpa, and more fireworks at home with the neighbors.
