Swimming Class and more

Here are some pics from Nathan's YMCA swim class. He absolutely LOVES the water!

And here are few other pics. The top two were taken at the township playground. The bottom pic is a preview for Halloween. Reagan will be a tiger, Nathan a monkey and Riley an elephant. I went with a Wiggles theme from the "Do the Monkey, Elephant & Tiger" song although I think that the theme "My mom feels like she lives in a Zoo" seems more fitting!!!

And lastly, here is a video of Riley. We bought a bigger plastic slide for our playroom. Mom got a great deal on it from a neighbor's garage sale. Much to our surprise, Riley can climb the ladder and go down the slide all by herself. This was actually one of her first attempts, she did it about 20 more times after this and now she is very steady and act like she is an old pro.

Summer is Over

Reagan picking flowers. It is her new favorite thing to do.

I tried really hard to get a pic of all 3 kids before baths tonight...this was actually one of the better pictures - Ha Ha!

Well I promised some more pictures so here you go. I need to try to get more pics of Nathan tomorrow. I guess I am lacking in Nathan pictures because he is doing so much therapy time right now. I took the girls to the township playground last weekend while John took Nathan to his first swimming class. John said that Nathan really enjoyed it and that he did really well with getting in the pool and learning to scoot along the edge of the pool holding onto the bar. I guess the class is more about getting used to the water than swimming lessons so maybe we will put him one level up next session.

The kids nasty stomach bug seems to be coming to an end...THANK GOODNESS!!!! I counted 16 poopy diapers in one day! Unfortunately it seems that the stomach bug is being replaced with a cold. I figured that with preschool starting in a few weeks that we were doomed for a long winter of runny noses but I was hoping that the cold season would hold off for just a little while longer.

Nathan is doing FANTASTIC with talking right now. He can say a whole bunch of animal sounds and several words. They aren't super clear and he needs some prompting to get them out but HOLY COW...He has come a LONG way!!! I will have to get Miss Tina to help prompt Nathan with flash cards so I can get a video of him. So Miss Tina if you are reading this, you have to job to do this weekend.

I took the video at the playground while Nathan was at swimming. I think I talk about "D" in the video. Just so everyone is on the same page, Reagan calls Nathan "D". She has been calling him D for as long as she has been talking. She can say Nathan, but she would rather call him D for some reason. Just didn't want to confuse anyone.

We are still here LOL!

I guess I have been on a blogging break ever since Riley started walking. The girl is all over the place and she is a climber! She is certainly keeping me busy as if I wasn't busy enough.

Nathan starts swim class this Saturday (a special thanks to GG) and the twins start preschool in less than a month...I can't believe it!

Aunt Shirley and Uncle Chuck are coming over tomorrow to play with the kids and give John and I a much needed break. It also happens that the Steelers are playing tomorrow so nobody has to guess what we will be doing on our night away.

I promise to get some more pics and videos up in the next few days. I know I have been majorly slacking lately, SORRY!
