Weight Check

Just estimates from my bathroom scale but better than nothing.

Nathan - 30.5lbs
Reagan - 30lbs
Riley - 25lbs
Kaycee - 11lbs

Incredible that there is only a 5lb difference between the twins and Riley. Also incredible that the twins have been very close in their height and weight ever since they were born and they are still only a half a pound different at 3.5 yrs old. Also note worthy is that Kaycee is teeny tiny. She is in about the 5th percentile for weight. I don't know her length but I imagine that is also on the small side. She still fits in some newborn clothes. My guess is she will take after her mom and be on the petite side.

Summer Time

The local splash pad had become one of our favorite spots this summer. It's not very far from our house and it's FREE!! Yup, you can't beat free.

This is my outlet whenever we are at home and I have had enough of being "Mommied" to death by 3 preschoolers. Everywhere I turn it's "Mommy I want, Mommy help me, Mommy she/he pushed me". Don't get me wrong I am incredibly grateful that my kids can communicate their wants and needs to me but gee whiz I had no idea it would be so crazy having 3 kids fighting for my attention. I may loose my mind completely before they are teenagers.

New Kiddie Pool

We got a bigger kiddie pool for the kids last week because they seemed kinda squished in the old pool.

Reagan acts like an old lady at the pool. Her most common phrase is "Nathan quit splashing, I don't want to get wet" as she uses the butterfly net to scoop out any grass that got in the pool.

Nathan is just all over the place. He slides in upside down and backwards, jumps off the slide (although we are trying to stop that one before we have broken bones to deal with) or he just lays back spread eagle and take is all in.

Riley is a little nervous about the pool in general but she manages to get in and even go down the slide when she gets the nerve.

Fourth of July

After this post my blog is officially out of order seeing as I still haven't uploaded our June Water Park vacation pictures, but such is life I guess.

Today we met up with another couple and their 10 month old little boy. We went to a petting zoo that we had only been to once before. Both Nathan and Reagan were fearless in feeding carrots to even the biggest animals like the buffalo and reindeer. Riley was a bit more cautious and ended up doing more watching than feeding.

It was a very hot morning and all the kids were a little needy with "Mommy, Mommy - Daddy, Daddy, and whaaa, whaaa I need a bottle" so I managed to just snap a few pictures at the very end.

Isn't it lovely that the kids all have sippy cups hanging from their mouths? And as usual there is one kid looking away in every single shot.

We plan to finish out the day with a dip in the new kiddie pool and then take the kids to see fireworks for the first time.
