Fun at the Fair

On Saturday we went to the Bloomsburg Fair. Nate and Reagan are now 20 months old and this was probably our very last outing as a family of four since Riley should be arriving within the next 2 weeks.

We had a really nice time and the kids got to do some fun things. They got to see a lot of animals and pet a goat. They rode on the carousel which Reagan loves but Nate is a little unsure about. They even went on a little train ride all by themselves. Nathan seemed to really like the train and gave us this big grin at one point that I just wish I captured on camera. It's hard to believe how big they are getting. We are just amazed that they went on a ride all by themselves.

Here is a short video of them on the train ride:

Fun and Gram and Grandpa's

Well we are finally mostly unpacked and the new baby's stuff is pretty much in place so we were finally able to relax a bit and enjoy the kids. We took Nate and Reagan to Gram and Grandpa's house for some fun running in the yard and playing in the new sandbox.

Nathan's favorite thing was a little bit unusual. He was actually fascinated with the clothes line of all things. He kept walking around and around looking up at it and smiling. We picked him up to touch it a bunch of times but he seemed to prefer to just look at it from the ground. Later Dad showed Nathan how much fun it is to pick up the sand and let it fall through your fingers and Nathan eventually caught on and started to enjoy the sand for the first time. He did get one fistful in his mouth, but it is a huge improvement from earlier in the summer when he just gobbled up the sand like it was potato chips.

Reagan had lots of fun in the sand box but she did make an escape for the inground swimming pool a few times. Luckily the winter cover is on the pool but we all still ran after her since you can never be too careful. We also learned that Reagan still prefers good old fashion dirt and rocks over the new Little People toys that Gram got her.
All and all it was a lot of fun having a big yard to play in and we are pretty sure that the kiddos will sleep well tonight (along with all the adults that were chasing after them)
Below is a video of Nate and Reagan from yesterday, the first time that Mom took them to Gram's and Grandpa's and they just ran and ran.....

And here is a video of the twins playing in the new sandbox......

We have moved!

Well it's official we sold the house in Delaware and we are now moved into our new temporary home near the Poconos in Pennsylvania. The move went pretty well although it rained all day and we didn't have room for all of our stuff. This has meant that about 1/3 of our things are in a storage building in Delaware, 1/3 is here at our temporary house in PA and the last 1/3 is being stored out in our house in Pittsburgh. It is a bit crazy to say the least.

The twins are adjusting pretty well to the new house. We have put them back in the same bedroom and so far they have been sleeping pretty well. Grandma has been over quite a bit to help watch Nate and Reagan so that Mom can go to doctor appointments and that has been a true blessing, we don't know what we would do without her.

Mom is now 36 weeks pregnant so we are expecting little Riley to make her appearance pretty soon. We aren't ready for her just yet, lots of unpacking and getting her things ready so I hope she stays in there a bit longer.
