Reagan's Dance Recital

Reagan's very first Dance Recital is tomorrow. Initially we weren't going to do the recital but one of the girls dropped out and there was an extra costume available. I took this video at the dress rehearsal so that Grandma and Grandpa could still see their little girl strutting her stuff since they weren't able to make it out here.

Reagan is on the very end. She likes to sing all the words to the song. She is loudest and most talkative girl in the entire class.

Children's Gear (Bikes and Podee)

Anyone who has ever talked to me knows that I am a huge fan of Baby Gear. But what I am really a sucker for is anything designed for multiples or closely spaced children. I have found that 90% of the things work so I guess that is why I keep going back for more.

For Easter the kids got bicycles. Reagan and Nathan both got big kid 12" bikes with training wheels. We also got a Kettler Tricycle with a 2nd tandem seat and handle bar. The Kettler was my brainchild because there was no way just John and I could handle 3 kids learning to ride bicycles plus a newborn. I must say that this piece of equipment is one of my most favorite multiple child items that I have ever purchased!!!

This week Kaycee went to the doctor for her 2 mth check up. She is growing well and she received all of her 2 mth vaccines.

Weight - 9lbs 2oz (btwn 10th and 25th percentiles)
Length - 22 1/4" (btwn 25th and 50th percentiles)

I also busted out the hands-free Podee Bottle this week for Kaycee. I think I last used it when the twins were around 6 months old. I didn't know if Kaycee would have the power to suck the milk all the way up the straw but she got the hang of it immediately. I used it 3 times so far. Twice she drank every last sip but the third time she fell asleep with the nipple still in her mouth. I have to say that the Podee Bottle is a pretty cool item for those who have a busy lifestyle.

Fun in the Sun!

Riley is over her stomach bug and it appears that Nathan is getting close to a complete recovery. It has been pretty warm here so we dug out the baby pool and the baby slide. I'm afraid that the kids won't want to do anything else now but play in the water for the rest of the summer...YIKES!
