We have been oh so busy

Sorry I haven't posted lately. We have just been really busy and not getting much rest. Nathan and Reagan are getting their 2 year molars right now. I think the teething is really hurting Reagan because she has been waking up crying at night and she is pretty fussy about eating, drinking and even opening her mouth.

Riley does not have any signs of getting teeth any time soon. It seems a bit strange since both Nathan and Reagan got their teeth very early. However Riley is rolling all over the place. She rolls like a log and just keeps on going until she hits a wall. She seems to prefer rolling to her right (not sure what the deal is on that) but she is very mobile so I guess that is good thing.

Reagan is trying to say more words everyday. I don't know that anyone other than her Dad and I can actually understand her but she is really making some good effort. She has tried to say apple, phone, open, and bubbles. She is doing really well with waving and saying "ba-ba" now.

Nathan is doing awesome with using the sign for "more" which is making two fists and then banging them together. He also makes the sign for bubbles which he does by swinging one arm backwards like a helicopter motion. He actually made his very first sign language sentence all on his own without me prepping him in anyway when he said "more bubbles". Nathan's 2nd behavioral evaluation is this Monday morning at 9am. We are hoping that the doctor will have some more info on what she thinks the future will be like for him. We are also hoping to get a few more prescription therapy hours for our little man. We have already called a bunch of therapy agencies to find out more info about their programs and we have Nathan on a few therapy waiting lists. It looks like it will be a couple more weeks until we receive Nathan's medical card and then a couple more weeks until we can get the additional therapy started but we are on our way.

I can't imagine what our lives will be like once the additional therapy starts. We already have about 6 hours of therapy a week and we will need to fit in about 10 more hours. Even though our life will be ruled by whenever therapy time is, I know that it is in Nathan's best interest and we will do whatever it takes to make sure he gets the best treatment we can give him.

Speaking of therapy, last week Dad got to work on some things around the house including getting the basement re-carpeted so that we can use it as a playroom/therapy room. We thought it would be perfect for therapy since their won't be windows or other distractions, but we also want it to be a fun place so dad painted a magnetic chalk board on the wall. We still have some work to do down there, but we will post pics whenever we get it all finished. Dad also had the trees trimmed last week and hired a handy man to fix a few odds and ends around the house. There is still so much to be done but we are getting there slowly but surely.

Sorry I don't have any pics of Nathan and Reagan lately, I'll make an effort to get some this week.
