Fun with Pots and Pans

We have opened up the Kitchen to the kids. Almost everything is baby proofed but Nathan figured out how to open the drawer below the oven where Mommy keeps her Pots and Pans. The kids love playing with the pots and the lids but more than anything Reagan loves to sit in Mommy's giant Frying Pan....she is something else???

Trip to Dutch Wonderland

We finally made it to an amusement park with the kids. We went on Thursday morning thinking that the kids would nap on the way there. Before we left, Daddy stopped at McDonald's so Mommy fed the kids some French Fries as we were driving. Well, poor Reagan was actually so tired that she fell asleep with a French Fry hanging out of her mouth.

The car ride was only an hour long so their nap was cut short and that made for some cranky kiddos but we still had some fun. The first ride we went on was the Merry-Go-Round. Both Nate and Reagan seemed to enjoy the ride.

Next, Daddy took Nathan on a BIG Slide and then Daddy had to climb all the way up to the top again to take Reagan. I just kept thinking of the sextuplet show called Jon and Kate Plus 8 while we were at this ride because the poor Dad in that show had to go up those stairs 6 times to take all of the sextuplets, so in that respect I guess Dad's of twins have it pretty easy.

Mommy didn't get any good photos on the slide because of the glare from the sun and being so far away, but you can tell how big the slide was. Mommy was actually a little nervous, but the kids seemed to like it.

Next we got some lunch and then headed over to the water park because it was getting really hot. Nathan got a little pushy when another toddler came over to the water fountain where he and Reagan were playing but after a couple reminders "Not to Push" he did pretty good.

After the water park we all got dressed and went on the train. Nathan really liked looking at all the rides and the people waving but poor Reagan fell asleep. So we decided that we had enough fun for the day and we headed back home so the kids could get some more sleep.
