Ride-On Cars

Even though Mommy and Daddy have been terribly busy, I am feeling a bit guilty that I haven't posted anything is awhile so here it goes....

Daddy has decided to stain the deck as an improvement to help sell our house. So every night he is outside using his little spray tool trying to make the deck look better. So this means that the toys on the deck had to go somewhere, and where did the go....In the House!
Nathan and Reagan have been having loads of fun in their Ride-on Cars the past few days. You would think that they wouldn't fight since there are two cars but they both seem to want to climb and ride in the back of the Pick-up. They can move the cars around a little with their feet, but mostly Mommy is pushing the two of them around the kitchen and the living room and getting a sore back. But it is all worth it since it makes them so happy!
The twins had there 18 month appointment this week and they are continuing to grow like weeds. They are both 33.5 inches. Reagan weighs a half pound more at 24 lbs and Nate is 23.5 lbs. The doctor said that they are at the 75% percentile for height and the 25-40% percentile for weight.
The doctor was happy with everything but did suggest that we have them evaluated for speech therapy since they aren't talking yet. It is a state program and hopefully it will give them the jump start they need so that come preschool or kindergarten they will be right on target with all the other kiddos.
Mommy is still having weekly Ultra Sounds for the new baby. Last week they were able to give us a weight estimate and it looks like she is about 3.5 lbs. Things seem to be moving very fast right now and we feel like the baby will be here before we know it.
In the past couple weeks the kids have gone to the Playground, McDonald's Playland, Done lots of shopping, Met up with Melanie and Sarah at a toddler play center, Gone to several of Mommy's doctor appointments, and They were very well behaved kiddos for our baby sitter. So at 1.5 yrs old, I'd say that's a busy couple of weeks.

Jack Hammers

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but things have been hectic with Daddy starting his new job and working long hours. Daddy has also been borrowing Mommy's camera for work so there is less opportunity to take pics and video during the day.

We listed our house with a Realtor and have our first Open House this Sunday. We plan on taking the kids to a swimming pool that day so that we will be out of the house and it won't look like two mini tornadoes struck the living room.

Here is a little video I took the other day of the kids using their Corn Poppers like Jack Hammers. They really like to copy and imitate each other which is GREAT when they are doing something they should be doing but it is VERY BAD when they are getting into mischief.
